This policy explains how Studio (studio.distributedjava.com), operated by Distributed Java, handles data when you manage creator video: import clips, write scripts, schedule posts, and publish to connected social accounts. Studio uses YouTube API Services, TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting APIs, Instagram professional login, and Facebook Login for Business.
When you sign up we store your name, email, password hash, and workspace role. If you use Google sign-on we receive your email and profile name only. Invited teammates work in the creator’s library under that workspace.
We store video files, titles, captions, thumbnails, scripts, product tags, comments you import, and posting schedules so you can review and publish them from Studio.
Studio uses YouTube API Servicesto list your channel, read video metadata and analytics, and upload videos you choose to publish. Scopes include email, profile, youtube.readonly, youtube.upload, youtube.force-ssl, and yt-analytics.readonly. We store access and refresh tokens, encrypted, so we can import and post while the channel stays connected.
Use of those features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. YouTube API data is used only to provide and improve Studio’s YouTube import, insights, and publish features for you. We do not sell it, use it for independent advertising, or use it for credit, employment, or similar decisions.
You can delete the YouTube profile in Studio under Social Profiles. Delete removes that profile and deletes the stored tokens. We try to revoke them with Google. If that call fails, revoke Studio from your Google Account under Third-party apps with account access. After revoke we stop calling YouTube APIs for that channel and delete YouTube API data we stored for it.
If you connect TikTok, Studio uses TikTok authorization to read your basic profile and public stats, list your videos, and publish or upload videos you choose (user.info.basic, user.info.stats, video.list, video.publish, video.upload). We store encrypted tokens for that account. TikTok data is used only to import, show insights, and publish for you. We do not sell it or use it for unrelated ads.
Delete the TikTok profile in Social Profiles to remove the row and delete the tokens. We try to revoke them with TikTok. If that call fails, remove Studio in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security and login → Manage app permissions. TikTok’s own policy is at TikTok Privacy Policy.
If you connect Facebook, Studio uses Facebook Login for Business to list Pages you manage, read those Pages’ videos and engagement, and publish video you choose (email, public_profile, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_read_user_content, pages_manage_posts). If you connect Instagram, Studio uses Instagram professional login to read your business media, comments, messages, and insights, and to publish content you choose (instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_manage_messages, instagram_business_manage_comments, instagram_business_content_publish, instagram_business_manage_insights). We do not read public Pages or public Instagram accounts you do not manage.
Meta data is used only to provide those Studio features. We do not sell it or use it to advertise to other people. Delete the Facebook or Instagram profile in Social Profiles to remove the row and delete the tokens. We try to revoke them with Meta. If that call fails, remove Studio from Facebook Settings → Apps and websites, or from Instagram Settings → Website permissions. Facebook’s policy is at Meta Privacy Policy.
Connecting Google Drive, LinkedIn, or similar accounts stores access and refresh tokens so Studio can import your media and post to those accounts on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored. We do not sell them. Studio refreshes those tokens while the profile stays connected. Logging out of Studio ends your Studio session only. It does not revoke social tokens.
We use this data to run your library, insights, scripts, comments, products, and scheduled posts; to keep the workspace secure; and to fix product issues. We may use cookies or analytics to understand site traffic. Platform API data is not used for purposes that are independent of those user-facing features.
We share content only with the platforms you connect, when you import or publish, and with processors we use to host Studio (for example AWS). We do not sell personal data or platform API data, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Studio sign-in uses a signed session token. Social platform tokens are encrypted before they are stored. Secrets are stored in AWS Parameter Store. See also Security.
You can delete a connected social profile in Studio at any time from Social Profiles. Delete removes that profile and deletes the stored access and refresh tokens. We then try to revoke those tokens with YouTube (Google), TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. That revoke is best effort: if the platform call fails, we still drop our copy. Revoke Studio from that platform’s app settings as well. You can connect the same account again later. Logging out of Studio does not revoke social tokens.
You can also revoke Studio from each platform’s own app settings (Google Account permissions, TikTok authorized apps, Facebook Apps and websites, Instagram website permissions). After either path we stop using those tokens.
To view, correct, or delete your Studio account and stored clips, use Delete Account on your Account page, or email khim.ung@distributedjava.com. We will delete account data, library content we control, and remaining stored tokens. Copies already posted on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or other networks stay on those networks until you remove them there.
